Experience Matters. Structure Changes Things.

Using evidence-informed trauma reprocessing and nervous system-based treatment to create measurable change.

Hi! I’m Kimberly Graef

I am a licensed therapist specializing in trauma reprocessing, emotional regulation, and nervous system–informed treatment. My work focuses on helping women reduce the ongoing impact of trauma, chronic stress, ADHD, and neurodivergent patterns so daily life feels steadier and more manageable.

My clinical approach integrates trauma-informed care with modalities including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT–informed), Internal Family Systems (IFS–informed), and person-centered therapy. These approaches allow us to move beyond surface-level coping and directly address emotional intensity, protective patterns, and the nervous system responses that keep distress active.

Rather than simply revisiting painful experiences, the work is structured and deliberate. We identify how your system interprets stress, how safety is processed in the body, and how to reduce reactivity in ways that are sustainable over time.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than a decade working in health and wellness, including personal training, group fitness instruction, and integrative nutrition coaching. That background continues to inform my understanding of the connection between physical regulation, emotional capacity, and mental health.

I believe therapy is most effective when it combines clarity, structure, and steady support. My goal is to create a grounded environment where patterns become understandable and meaningful change becomes possible.

Together, let’s unearth your inner strength, and pave the way towards growth and transformation.

Why me:

  • Empathy: I approach this work with steadiness and depth. Trauma, chronic stress, and neurodivergent patterns are not abstract concepts to me — they are systems that can be understood, mapped, and treated. My role is to help you make sense of what is happening beneath the surface so your reactions feel less confusing and more manageable.
  • Expertise: I integrate structured approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and IFS-informed parts work to reduce the ongoing impact of traumatic experiences. The focus is not on repeatedly reliving the past, but on decreasing its intensity so your nervous system no longer responds as if the threat is still present.
  • ADHD Support: For women navigating ADHD or other neurodivergent patterns, I provide practical tools to improve regulation, executive functioning, and emotional resilience. This includes addressing the emotional toll of masking, burnout, and long-term overwhelm — not just symptom management.
